Our Purpose

Newell Christian Fellowship exists to celebrate God’s presence in worship (magnify); incorporate God’s family into our fellowship (membership); educate God’s people through discipleship (maturity); demonstrated God’s love through service (ministry); and communicate God’s Word through evangelism (Mission). The purpose of this Church is drawn directly from the Great Commandment in Matthew 22:37-40 and the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great commandment, and the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

“Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20
